Sidewalk Hope Mission:
To positively impact the lives of children in the heart of our city and the communities in which they live through the hope of Jesus Christ.

For ten years, Sidewalk Hope has served children and teens in our community by meeting their spiritual, physical, and emotional needs with Christlike compassion. We are guided by the memory of a child who once said, “It’s hard to hear about Jesus when you’re hungry.” That simple truth has shaped our ministry: as we build relationships, we also strive to quiet the distractions that can keep a child from hearing the hope of the gospel.

We believe the gospel is most powerful when shared through both word and deed. Each week, we consistently demonstrate God’s love through meaningful teaching, compassionate care, and the example of Jesus’ sacrifice. We listen, mentor, feed, encourage, and love every child in His name.

Sidewalk Hope shares the Word of God weekly through praise and worship, scripture memory, and age-appropriate Bible lessons. Children hear the gospel in both individual and group settings, and each visit ends with prayer—modeled by our team and practiced by the children themselves. We also provide opportunities for Vacation Bible School, Christian summer camps, and leadership-focused field trips that continue to plant seeds of faith and hope. Currently, Sidewalk Hope serves approximately 350 children and teens each week and 750+ each year during special events such as Back-to-School and Christmas Blessings.
