Sage Bouvier – East Tennessee State University

Sage Bouvier grew up at Hope Point and first learned to love the lost, love God’s word, and share the Gospel from the teachings and youth group at Hope Point. She now serves as a missionary with Cru in Johnson City, TN where she lives with her family. As a member of the Blue Ridge Cru Movement, she reaches college campuses in northeast Tennessee, specifically students at Eastern Tennessee State University. She helps this next generation explore the claims of Jesus Christ, grow in following Him, and be equipped to share their faith and live on mission.

“We pray God will turn lost students into Christ-directed disciple-makers for a lifetime. We do this as an active part of campus-life through personal evangelism, weekly large group meetings, Bible studies, discipleship (mentoring) times, as well as lots of retreats, mission trips and fun activities.”

Sage also serves young adults alongside her husband, Jacob, who serves as the Young Adults and Groups Pastor at their local church  where God is using him guide the church’s ministry to those 18 to 30 years of age and to small group leaders. Sage and Jacob have two young children, Caden and Ronnie.
