Sidewalk Hope is a mobile kids’ church that makes weekly site visits year-round to inner-city housing developments in Spartanburg, SC. The communities served have been listed in the top ten most dangerous neighborhoods in the United States. Using a modified box truck with a drop-down side that converts into a stage and completed with a large screen TV and sound system, Sidewalk Hope can take the gospel of Christ to the children directly where they live. Each visit consists of praise and worship, Biblical teaching, games and incentives, Scripture memory, a meal, and individual or group prayer time. Sidewalk Hope currently serves 150-200 children per week.
