Position Scope
The Finance & HR Administrative Assistant advances our mission by providing great stewardship, accuracy, and execution in the areas of Accounting and HR for Hope Point Church.
Direct Report: John Chambers (Executive Pastor)
Work Type: Full-Time (30 hours per week)

Preferrable candidate will possess previous work experience with Quickbooks and moderate efficiency in Microsoft Excel
Duties and Responsibilities

Oversees the accuracy and preparation of weekly deposits, record entries and annual donor contributions.

Serves as first point of contact to donors for resolution of giving related questions.

Manages accounts payable system and the processing of checks and ACH payments (including mission partner support checks).

Reviews and updates policies to ensure the effectiveness of accounting and HR procedures.

Ensures retirement contributions are made timely and accurately.

Performs routine human resource duties.

Oversees the maintenance, recommendations and processing of employee benefits.

Manages annual audit with external auditors.

Provides administrative support to Senior Pastor and Executive Pastor, as needed.

Accepts other responsibilities as needed to support the HR department and as assigned by the Executive Pastor and Senior Teaching Pastor.
